You must have known it would happen. You couldn’t have been entirely unprepared.
After toiling for literally months without any notice from Washingtonian magazine, we have at last been profiled in their Blogger Beat series. Yes, we’ve finally hit the big time.
Now, some of you might be disappointed in us, thinking that with this crazy mainstream exposure we’re just going to become all corporate, a mere puppet blog ready to do Washingtonian’s bidding. But I assure you that the unyielding integrity and hard-hitting investigative journalism that you’ve come to rely upon from d,s will continue. We will not allow the huge sums of money we’ll be getting to change our ways.
It should be said that while no specific discussion of money occurred during the Blogger Beat interview process, I’m sure this was just an over-site and we’ll be getting our first royalty check soon. They must be just rolling in the pageviews from our beautiful photo.
Anyway, check out the interview if you want to see some nerdery, and feel free to make fun of us in the comments here. You won’t get a much easier target than this.
