Another day, another ridiculous gimmick caused by that darn recession: Seems DC’s tourism office is so desperate to cash in on the whole everything-Obama-touches-turns-to-gold factor that they’re creating an “Obama-inspired itinerary.” (This, barely two months after hotels raked in $94.8 million over inauguration.)

Some positive news for frequenters of 14th Street NW. It looks like two currently vacant storefronts will soon become eating establishments.
Via DC Metrocentric I see that Policy at 14th and T will be having their soft opening on March 12th. Policy’s website makes the place look kind of ritzy (no prices though), but I’m psyched to see [...]
