Update: Alright, so turns out the date below isn’t completely accurate. Old City Green now has a sign out front saying that 21 March is “Industry Day”, 28 March is “Community Day”, and 11 April is the actual date for the Grand Opening.
In some pretty rockin’ news for the nabe, it looks like Old City Green is getting ready to open back up. I’d been noticing that their lot was accumulating more and more plant life over the past couple of weeks, and now I see that the official Grand Opening date is set for this Saturday the 21st. Also, they’re hiring! [obligatory recession joke goes here]
So, I think everyone should head down to 9th and N on Saturday and welcome Old City back by purchasing some flora. Katie and I really like our ziziphus plant, so maybe ask if they have any of those. Tell them Noah sent you.*
