“So damn, are you peoples ever going to post again or what?”
We’ve been hearing this kind of thing pretty much constantly from our thousands of adoring readers since our last post 2+ weeks ago. And it’s a valid inquiry. Blogs without content don’t do anyone any good, after all.
But damn if the first week of 2009 hasn’t been a pressure cooker for us. Katie is currently completing an epic battle with deadlines, and I’m trying to get caught up enough at work that our upcoming Guatemala trip doesn’t sink me into an insurmountable hole.
However, because I care about our readers (and also can’t stand the feeling of rejection that comes with low pageview numbers), I’ve prepared three items of interest* that I will share with you now.
- Slumdog Millionaire - This movie is fantastic. It completely lives up to all its hype and you should definitely go see it as soon as possible.
- ACKC- I’m not really a fan. When it opened, I had high hopes that it would be the much-needed 14th Street coffee shop I would spend a lot of time just chilling in, but we’ve gone a couple of times now, and I just can’t get that into it. The atmosphere just seems a little too…haughty, I guess. Plus they sell chocolate bars with bacon. Mega-gross.
- Manswers – We watched a little bit of this Spike show on New Year’s Eve (don’t ask). It is so transcendently bad that it’s almost good, but its sheer horribleness is great enough to keep it in the bad column. I can’t recommend you ever view even a little bit of it.
So that’s the word from our end. Don’t worry, I’m sure this coming week will prove itself to be more blog-friendly!
*No guarantee that these items will be “interesting” to you in the traditional sense.

go to biagio ( http://www.biagiochocolate.com/ ) they have chocolate thats waay better than bacon chocolate. Slumdog miyyionaire (I laughed every time the host tried to pronounce that) was awesome and yeah ackc kinda sucks, but I don’t wanna give up on it cuz it had so much potential.
slumdog millionaire = best movie ever. kick ass soundtrack too!
